Jean-Baptiste Van Ex
Jean-Baptiste Van Ex was born in 1977. He has a master degree in applied economics of the Louvain School of Management and a Major in Finance. He also obtained an accounting degree at the Belgian Chamber of Accounting Officers.
Since 2008 Jean-Baptiste is head of the real estate activities of Bank Degroof Petercam.
He joined the company in 2006 as financial analyst. His task consists of following up both the real estate market and real estate shares quoted at Euronext Brussels.
Previously, Jean-Baptiste worked as financial analyst at Fountain Capital Partners in Paris, where he was in charge of the analysis, structuring and management of direct real estate investments made on behalf of pension funds such as TIAA-CREF and Prudential Property Investment Management. He was responsible for the Belgian asset management activities and for all the investments in Belgium.
He is a professor of the real estate course at the Louvain School of Management.
Jean-Baptiste loves mountainbiking, running as well as mountain climbing and tries to practise these sports the whole year round. He is very fond of gardening and, in his capacity of active member of several associations, he is passionate about safeguarding our heritage.
