Hélie de Cornois
Hélie de Cornois was born in 1978. He holds a master degree in commercial law (2001) from the university Paris X Nanterre. Moreover, he obtained a postgraduate degree in applied taxation (2003) at the Paris V Malakoff institute, where he was granted the best student award by the French state council’s vice president.
From 2003 until 2007 he used to work as estate planner for Banque de Gestion Privée Indosuez (BGPI) in Paris. In 2007 he joined the Corporate and Structured Finance department at Banque Degroof Luxembourg S.A. until he was promoted head of that department in 2013. Since the beginning of 2016, he is charge of Wealth Structuring at Banque Degroof Petercam Luxembourg S.A., which provides Private Banking clients with advice regarding estate matters. Their mission consists of defending clients’ interests and allowing them to safeguard their estate. For that purpose, they consider all legal and fiscal aspects, including the ones emerging when the estate is transferred to heirs.
