Bruno Colmant holds a degree in Business Engineering (Solvay, ULB) and an MBA Quantitative methods (Purdue University, USA). He is also a Masters in Fiscal Sciences (ICHEC) and has a PhD in Applied Economics (Solvay, ULB).
Bruno Colmant began his career at Arthur Andersen, Dewaay and Sofina. He was managing director at ING (1996-2006), Head of Cabinet of the Minister of Finance (2006-2007), president of the Brussels Stock Exchange, member of the Management Committee of NYSE Euronext and Chairman and CEO of Euronext Brussels (2007- 2009), and Deputy CEO of Ageas (2009-2011). From 2011 to September 2015 he was an academic advisor at Ageas and partner of the consulting firm Roland Berger. Since September 2015 he is Head of Macro Research at Bank Degroof Petercam.
Colmant is also a member of the Central Board for business (since 2004). He is a guest lecturer at the Vlerick Management School, at UCL, at ICHEC and at the Facultés Saint-Louis. He has written 60 books about finance, accounting and taxation, and published at least 4,000 financial press articles.
