Managing Director of Degroof Petercam FoundationSilvia Steisel was born in 1988 and grew up in the vicinity of Leuven. She studied History (Université Catholique de Louvain) and Art History (University of St. Andrews, Scotland) and also has a Honors Diploma in Business Management (Ichec Brussels Management School).
Before joining Bank Degroof Petercam in 2013, she already had a first experience in the cultural and artistic patronage. Today Silvia advises individuals and families looking for a philanthropic project with an entrepreneurial vision and a strong social impact. She is also in charge of the Degroof Petercam Foundation, a foundation dedicated to new initiatives that improve the employment in our society.
Her free time she spends mainly on riding horses. Her other passions include: history, culture, nature and entrepreneurship.
